We work with single-origin Assam CTC — the small, hard-rolled leaf that gives Indian chai its body and malt. One region, one honest grade, bought by the chest rather than blended down to hit a price.
Assam is where the water runs dark and the cup runs strong. That backbone is the whole point; everything else is just how we look after it.
No shortcuts in the cup
Royal Cup is 100% pure CTC — no flavouring, no added dust to bulk it out. Elaichi Chai adds real green cardamom, crushed whole, never essence. What's on the pack is what's in the cup.
We grade and seal it fresh so it reaches you tasting the way it should — full-bodied and brisk, first cup to last.
